PRIVATE PROJECT MONITORING
Your places. Seen from space.
Monitoring-approved boundaries and dated satellite observations. Green: projects. Blue: observations. Publication is approved separately.
MY WORKSPACE
Your climate perspective.
Keep the discoveries that matter. Pick up where you left off.
Your project starts here.
Draw your boundary or upload a GeoJSON file. Your account email is all we need to keep your project with you.
Open the map, find your land, then choose Draw boundary. Click or tap each corner and select 2. Finish outline, then 3. Save project.
Opening the map loads OpenStreetMap tiles. Its provider receives your IP address and the map areas viewed. Your drawn boundary is saved only to Tao when you choose Save.
Find a place by coordinates
Polygon or MultiPolygon. Up to 2,000 positions and 120 KB. Only boundary geometry is imported. Use multiple polygons for additional parcels.
Or paste GeoJSON
Sign in when you are ready to save. Your boundary will wait here.
Saved privately as a draft. A private project page is created when you save. Satellite monitoring needs your permission and Tao approval. Saving does not verify land rights or create carbon credits.
Start simply. Build the evidence.
Every section is available now. Save with just your boundary and account email, then return whenever you have more information.
Your details and evidence are accessible to your account and authorised Tao staff for project review. With your satellite permission, saving requests Tao approval for satellite monitoring. Section readiness is your declaration, not independent verification or CRCF certification.
Documents and photographs
PDF, JPG, PNG or WEBP. Up to 10 MB per file and 50 MB per project. Save your project first to attach evidence.
Project history
Each saved update keeps a dated snapshot. Removed files are no longer downloadable; their historical descriptions remain.
Privacy and project data
Tao Climate Limited uses your account details, project information and uploaded evidence to provide this workspace and assess your project. Your records are accessible to your account and authorised Tao staff, and are not published as inventory or carbon credits.
Google Firebase provides sign-in. Project records and evidence use Google Cloud storage in europe-west1. The map loads OpenStreetMap tiles only when you open it. Inter fonts are served by this application. This preview does not load Google Analytics.
Your records and dated versions are kept so you can return and develop the project. Archiving does not delete them. Removing an evidence file makes it unavailable here, while historical descriptions and temporary provider recovery copies can remain. To request access, correction, export or deletion of your project and history, contact hello@taoclimate.com.
Satellite monitoring and marketing permissions are separate choices in Organisation and permissions. Satellite observations are prepared only with your permission. Saving does not send marketing messages. Only fields marked public, the project name, boundary and satellite snapshots can be published after Tao approval; attachments remain private. Later edits need fresh approval. Withdrawing publication permission or archiving a project removes its public page. Sign-in is remembered on this browser; sign out on shared devices. Unsaved project entries may be held temporarily in this tab while you sign in.
CRCF evidence preparation
These sections organise project information for assessment. Eligibility, additionality, quantification, storage and sustainability must be assessed against the applicable methodology, with independent verification. Crop growth or satellite observation alone does not establish certified removal.
European Commission: certification methodologiesMethodology reference checked 8 October 2026. Requirements differ by pathway and location. We do not claim that completing these fields satisfies every certification requirement.

BENCHMARK SCENARIO
Where the numbers come from
Google reported 0.03 g CO2e and 0.24 Wh per median Gemini Apps text prompt for May 2025, using its 2024 fleetwide grid carbon intensity.
We multiply that historical median by your request count. This is a scenario, not measured personal emissions or a statistical estimate of your total. It does not cover other providers, image/video generation or training, and is not a full lifecycle footprint.
